About The Annex

The Annex Bar & Grille SignThe Annex Bar & Grille is quite simply the best bar you’ll ever visit.  It’s located on the corner of Pettibone and Liberty Roads in Solon, Ohio.  It doesn’t look like a typical bar.  In fact, many people drive right by it and have no idea what they’re missing.

COVID UPDATE: New Hours – Until Further Notice

Are you a burger fan?  When someone asks you where you can get the best burger on the planet, unless you say “The Annex” then I’m sorry… but you’re wrong.  And no… I’m not exaggerating.  These things are EPIC!

Want to get your drink on?  This is the place to do it. Nuff said.

Why Is This Page “Un-Official”?
Cause I’m nothing more than a patron and a fan.  I don’t have any affiliation with The Annex other than I love it.  As far as I know, there is no “official” Annex website.  You can also follow me on Twitter at @AnnexBar or join the discussion on Facebook at https://facebook.com/Annexbar.

You Built A Website, Facebook & Twitter Accounts For A Bar You Have No Affiliation With?
Yep… as I said before, I’m a fan.  Not to mention the fact that I’m a bit of a web and social media geek.  I do web design for a living and I’ve been trying to get them online for years 😉  An “institution” such as the Annex simply NEEDED to be online.  I took care of it for them!

  1. My family owned it back in the 50’s, when it was called Locust Inn. Back then my grandfather raised chickens in his out building.

  2. My best friend Ed lived right next door,we spent many nights there before we went into the Army in 1953,I think that the old gentleman who owned it at that time was named Al not positive about that but he did get remarried earlier that year,he was surprised that we knew it but back then the Cleveland News published the marriage licenses and Ed and I had read it,the place has fond memories.
